Kevin G. Breard made a serious personal commitment to excellence when he opened the doors to his Certified Public Accounting office in 1989, and he’s still living the commitment today. That and his entrepreneurial spirit permeate every aspect of the firm’s culture and serve as the foundation for the dedication and teamwork it takes to provide the best possible service to every client.
Four decades of experience.
Mr. Breard has over 40 years of accounting experience, including 38 years of public accountancy and several years as a CFO of a small subsidiary of a NYSE-listed company. Breard & Associates was born out of his dream to provide a broad range of services to a diverse clientele.
Kevin is certified as a CPA in 10 states, and he holds CFE, CFS, and DABFA licenses. He has a BS in Accounting, with a business emphasis, from CSU Northridge. He studied Corporate Governance at Tulane University Law School.

Certified Financial Planner

Dennis DeYoung, CFP® has been preparing tax returns for over 25 years and has been associated with Breard & Associates for the last 10 years as a licensed tax preparer, through the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). Dennis graduated from CSUN in 1987 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a licensed stockbroker. Kevin and Dennis have served together on the Board of Directors of several non-profits. They continue to tirelessly contribute their time, leadership, and financial acumen to support their community.

Scott Fields, a long-time marketing veteran, has worked with Kevin Breard for over 15 years. When Breard was the Managing Partner of an earlier firm offering Broker-Dealer audits, their collaboration was key in raising its profile from twelfth in national market share to fourth in a relatively short time span.
